Whether it’s skimming, boarding, patch repairs, covering artex or sorting out damaged ceilings, this is our bread and butter. Between the three of us, we’ve got over 40 years of hands-on experience, so there’s not much we haven’t seen – and more importantly, not much we can’t put right. Artex ceiling coverage is a big part of our work here at J.Barbers plastering and internal wall insulation due to there been a high demand for them in the late 1960's to the late 1980's. Lets be honest they're not great to look at and bring the look of the house down. people often ask the question if Artex ceilings need re boarding then skimming which can bring the cost up of doing them but they can also be re skimmed depending on the depth of the texture and the pattern of which you have in your home.

Modern clean look - Having your ceiling re plastered to a nice smooth and flat finish will bring the look of your home back to a modern finish.
